Amis des Bonobos – UK

We are a UK-based charity with two aims:

  • Increase awareness and education about bonobos in the UK
  • Raise funds to support Les Amis des Bonobos for the Lola Ya Bonobo Sanctuary, in the DRCongo, where currently 64 orphan bonobos need your support.

The team is made up entirely of volunteers, so 100% of all donations directly support the bonobos and the sanctuary.

Our sister organisation friendsofbonobos is based in the USA and our french-speaking sister organisation Amis des Bonobos du Congo is based in France. All organisations promote awareness of bonobos, protection of Congolese nature and conservaiton eduation in direct association with Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary.

Any donation you make – no matter how small – is greatly appreciated and the bonobos  thank your generosity & kindness with a chorus of hoots!
